The book titled “The System” is an Antelist Analysis of the current socio-economic society that people currently live in, with a primary focus on the United States.
In order to create a solution to the shortcomings of our current society one must first be able to accurately describe and explain our current society. Many people think are society is many things but they only have a partial view of society, not a complete and comprehensive understanding of it.
There are many words used to define our society and the ideologies that drive it, however it is important to note that many people have many different opinions as well as many different definitions to words that are commonly used. Capitalism, Trickle Down Economics, Free Market, Mixed Economy, Welfare State, Social Services economy, Socialism, Communism, Anarchy, and so many other words to not have a popular definition that encompasses 95% of the population. Capitalism for example disregards the mixed economy aspects of our economy. Capitalism also doesn’t describe our legal system, as many different legal systems can exist in a vague economic state of “Capitalism”. Thus simplifying our society to one word is far from a practical application, and in fact, it is harmful to proper analysis.
To fully analyze and understand the society we have to first go to the very roots of society, the individual people and their ways of thinking. We have to understand human nature, we have to understand Truth and know the economy’s distribution of resources, capital, and individual industries. We have to know the code of laws and why those laws are followed. The Government, legal system, economic system, so much needs to be understood.
The reason why understanding the system in such great detail is so important is because without understanding the Truth of our System then we cannot create solutions to create a better system. Just like with the book Book of Action, the first step is accepting Truth and then using Truth to improve the current situation by Designing actions to improve and better the system.
