The Complexity Question is a question that asks “Are Human Beings too complicated to analyze”. It is a similar question people bring up with regards to society, government, and economics. Things are just too complicated and too hard to understand and therefore it is impossible.
Antelism considers the idea that Human Nature is too complicated to understand to be Sacrilegious. What is the reason for this conclusion in Antelism?
First is it violates the Hope Principle of GOAM, stating that in a non-GOAM society, the emotion of Hope is necessary to move people in the direction of GOAM.
Second, and more importantly, it looks at the amount of effort people collectively put into understanding human nature and society, and sees how limited it is compared to other disciplines.
Let’s use the Analysis method of Comparables as an example. First we must find another Object that is comparable to humans. This is difficult, but for the sake of argument all we really need to do is find another Complex Object. The Complex Object chosen for this example is the Apollo spacecraft.
Think of the amount of man-hours (the collective hours spent on something) used in the Apollo space program. Not just the people directly working for NASA but all the people in industry being able to make the parts and the labor to make the parts. Also all the preceding knowledge built on thousands of years of human knowledge for math, science, and physics before the work on the Apollo program even started.
As a visual aid to help understand the complexity, here is a photograph of Margaret Hamilton next to a pile of books of all the source code written for the Apollo spacecraft.

And this is just one part of the Apollo spacecraft, if we combine all the other work it is even higher. The question must be asked, have we spent this amount of time and man-hours and effort on understanding human nature and making a better society?
Think of today’s modern political landscape in the United States, the main political ideologies are formed based on century old ideas and texts and have not evolved.
Antelism views humanity as not putting in the effort and time needed to understand human nature and to develop a proper human society. As odd as that might be to hear considering the amount of books written on human health and pyschology and government, the fact of the matter according to Antelism is that a comprehensive effort such as that of the Apollo mission has not been conducted towards developing a better society. Think of a simple service manual for a high end piece of equipment, that manual can be over 300 pages long, and it also requires many more pages of understanding of electronics equipment and components in order to understand the 300 page manual in the first place.
The Antelist position is that the man-hours and effort for developing a better system has not been done yet. On the surface it appears to be done, but a single book is nothing in comparison to what we see with what was done on the Apollo Mission which is another Complex Object. If humanity can solve Apollo then there is no justifiable argument that exists that states that it can’t solve Human Nature and Society.
In Conclusion, the Antelist answer to the Complexity Question is a resounding No. It doesn’t view things as too hard to overcome, it views it as a matter of time and effort and discipline. Which Discipline? The discipline of following Truth.
