Book of Action Chapter 2: Programming

I

It is one thing to believe in GOAM for a passing moment but it is another thing to have it be a permanent part of one’s mental thinking and lifestyle.

To achieve true belief in GOAM one must use the principles of Programming. Those principles include meditation, prayer, repetition, saying it out loud, reading it in your head, thinking about it, and allowing it to come in and be reprogrammed.

It takes a significant amount of time for the programming to take place. This isn’t something that is five minutes a day but rather it is something that will require at least an hour a day, possibly and most likely more, until the idea of GOAM becomes a normal part of one’s mental thinking. Once GOAM becomes part of someone’s normal thinking then it becomes part of their normal actions because GOAM as a Thought is an Emotion and Emotion leads to Action. Action is what we care about the most so understanding that it is Emotion that leads to Action is what allows us to develop a method of changing emotion in order to change our actions.

GOAM is important but which aspects of GOAm to focus on is going to be the focus of the next chapter.
