Action Chapter 6: Truth of Oneself

I

The first action that must be taken is to analyze the Truth of Oneself. This is an extremely difficult task as it is hard to get rid of all the Thoughts and Emotions that were taught to people and ingrained in their thinking.

The first thing to do is to view yourself as an Object with no moral good or bad about oneself. Not only is there no Good or Bad but there is no Positive or Negative. It is to view yourself in a completely neutral way. Second is to disregard the past and focus on the Object of Oneself that is in the present. Diagnose that Object. Some people struggle with that diagnosis and they must look to the past to analyze it and understand the present Object. Other people are unable to do this either because they cannot do it without emotions distorting them from Truth or the process of looking at the past for analysis is just too painful due to the pain, suffering, and trauma that individual suffered in their past. Other people simply are unable to analyze the past with objectivity. People who do not understand and believe in Truth will fail to accomplish this task.

Another method is to ask other people. There are pros and cons to asking other people about oneself. They have their own biases and also as people who aren’t Antelist their idea of Truth and analysis are not the same and might not be accurate. However Antelism believes in the premise of general consensus without propaganda and that is that people can (not will, but can) usually deduce and analyze things correctly if fed the correct information.

In this case we have a democracy of opinions to help guide an individual. Of course opinions need to be evaluated to see if their analysis makes sense, but the important thing to note is the Truth. Is what a person telling someone else True? That is what is important.

If both methods are not feasible, the method of analyzing the past and the method of having people describe you and tell the Truth about yourself, then the third method is mandatory.

The third method is mandatory regardless, yes, even if you did both method 1 and 2 perfectly the third method is still necessary. The third method to analyze the Truth of one self is to follow the pillar of Accountability? What is Accountability? There are two aspects to Accountability, but you only need to use this one particular aspect. That aspect is Documentation.

Documentation in the easiest definition possible is simply “writing down the Truth”. In this case you have to engage in Documentation of Oneself. What time do you wake up, how do you feel, what are you doing at each hour, each 30 minute block. How much time is spent on the job, how much time is spent sleeping, how much time is spent on video games, social media, or other activities. What is your height, how much do you weight, what are your health vital signs, how is your vision, and so on. Other aspects like what are your assets, what are your expenses, what accounts do you own, what do you owe, and so on.

You Document every Truth about oneself, both action and behavior but also individual assets and ownership and situation. Who are your friends and contacts, where do you live, who is your family, what are the characteristics of your friends and family and other people, and so on.

You must analyze the Truth of Oneself (TOO) and through that information you are able to design action in order to achieve a state of GOM (Good of Oneself).

It is important to document the sources of your pain and suffering and the type of pain and suffering you have. Is it physical pain? Find the source of it. Is it emotional pain? Find the source of it and understand it. BE CAREFUL, don’t dive too deep into it or it might make you suffer more, but don’t ignore it.

Antelism has methods o helping mental health but that isn’t covered in this chapter.

In short, one must know the Truth of Oneself in order to achieve the Good of Oneself. One must remove all emotion, judgement, and opinion of the Truth of Oneself. Many people are depressed when they see the Truth of Oneself and this causes a feeling of fear and rejection of accepting the Truth of Oneself. If you reject the Truth of Oneself then you are falling farther away from Truth and also falling away from being able to work towards achieving the Good of Oneself. One doesn’t constantly need to think of the Good of Oneself or know the Good of Oneself but they must at some point be able to see aspects of oneself that are True and critically analyze it.

Documentation is the method of recommendation and thus the first set of action is to Document oneself. Through this documentation they can then move towards developing a pathway of achieving GOM.
