After understanding Truth one realizes that Morality is nothing more than a human made Object, therefore, like all man made Objects, there is no absolute Objectivity to it. This is the crossroad morality that drives fear in the mind of both atheists and theists, how can one believe and follow any moral code if it is all Subjective? And since it is Subjective that means there can never be a “Perfect” moral code because everyone has their own personal opinion of perfection with regards to Morality.
Antelism faces this crossroad without any fear. Antelism Believes and accepts Truth, and Antelism believes in not fearing Truth (Refer to Antelist Principles). Thus, there is near fear about this crossroad because Antelism doesn’t need to make a decision, the decision is outlined, Morality is Subjective, and Antelism isn’t afraid of this.
The important question becomes how do you design a Moral System when you know it is Subjective. The answer is what Antelism refers to as “The Great Compromise”
The Great Compromise is the solution to the Moral Question in Antelism. There can not be a perfect moral system, since all moral systems have subjectivity. Therefore we must create a compromised moral system that a majority of the population can agree on and work with. That is the Great Compromise, it is a compromise for all humanity.
That Great Compromise is the Moral Compass of Antelism known as The Good of All Men, otherwise known as GOAM for short. This morality, the Good of All Men, otherwise can be call the Good of All People, Good of All Humanity, or whatever verbiage one wants to use, is the second pillar of Antelism, only to fall behind Truth.
GOAM is a morality that can apply to all people regardless of their current moral or religious beliefs. It exists outside of political parties, outside of present philosophy and ideology, it is a unique concept to Antelism.
So what is GOAM? That will be covered in the next chapter
