Truth Chapter 4: Abstract Objects Continued

I

The previous chapter went over the basics of Abstract Objects, which are Objects that one is not readily or easily able to see and conceive as an Object but is still an Object.

Thoughts are the first major Abstract Object coupled with ideas and large collections of thoughts and ideas such as ideologies, philosophies, and religions. The complexity of Objects expands even further in this chapter.

One Abstract Object that most people are familiar with is the Abstract Object of social constructs, standards, and norms. An article of clothing isn’t just the fabric that makes it up and the arrangement of such fabric, the Object is also defined by its relationship to people. What is the difference between a high end label and low end label? The fabrics and manufacturing might be close to identical, however one is priced significantly higher. An Object can be characterized by its relationship to human perception and human behavior, which in short relates to the Object of human Thought.

An individual human being is an Object, made up of smaller objects such as organs, cells, DNA, molecules, and atoms. And Human Thought is its own Object, as well as the ideas and complicated arrangement ideas formed from human thought. But Human Thought also creates what is viewed as tangible but in reality is intangible.

This takes us to the Abstract Object of Human Constructs, specifically the concept of society, government, and nation states. Go in an airplane and fly over different countries and you see there are no borders (yes there can be man-made fences or walls, but without human beings those fences would have never been there to begin with). The only thing one will see is land. There isn’t a giant copy of each country’s constitution that is inherently built into that land, the segregation of land by human beings created the Abstract Object of nation states, cities, towns, and neighborhoods. Those Objects mentioned, nation states, cities, towns, and neighborhoods, none of those things are real in the sense that we can touch them or smell them or measure them, they are only real in the mind of people. And Thoughts are Objects, and therefore the Thought of Nation States is itself an Object. It is just an Object of human mental creation and not one of natural existence, the same way that ideology is an Object of human mental creation.

So a Nation State is both real in a sense that it is an Object of the Human Mind and it is not real at the same time without human beings. The abstract concept of nation states are real Objects, they exist because people agree and think and Believe they exist. They are mostly defined by the idea of Popular Definition, meaning that the state of Mexico can be anything that anyone wants to believe, but the consensus is that it is the nation state of its current constitution and border, that makes it a Popular Definition or the “commonly agreed upon definition” or “The consensus definition”. Mexico exists because we Believe it exists, and more importantly, Mexico exists because we as people put of Vote of Confidence towards the Belief of its existence.

A Vote of Confidence, or Confidence for short, is the human emotion that dictates Belief. The nation states of the world exists so as long as the vast majority of the population of the world elect their own personal Vote of Confidence towards the existence of that nation state.

Confidence and Belief are the key pillars of creation for any human thought created construct and Object.
